idea development (analysis)

since this is what i get from the survey :-

1st persona: memorable,vintage, all above (modern and traditional), traditional food

2nd persona:bright colors, great, town

I try to analyse the result for the final artwork : ( i split the 2 persona into 2 artwork)

Artwork1:(persona 1 that feel about traditional lifestyle )

memorable : memorable mostly is related about something they feel special and remember it,

example for thing that symbolize memorable : photos , old things

vintage : color that is old-ish like brown and earthy color 

modern and traditional : it will only indicated by buildings like 'kampung' and city -the stucture appearance 

traditional food (Penang) :

Nutmeg ,Tambun Pneah , Beh Teh Sor , Heong Pneah , Pong Pneah , Tau Sar Pneah  , laksa  and etc.

Artwork 2: ( persona 2 that feel about modern city )

bright colors : neon colors like neon red and neon blue and also color like bright blue and red.

great : the feeling of enjoying the modern of city like shopping and modern facilities.

town : building structure that indicate the modern of Penang

A survey for final artwork

 Since a survey need to be done to do the final artwork.I register surveymonkey.com for survey.
I have survey 28 person via online in Facebook by create a short survey since mostly people dont like to read long questions.

1st persona: memorable,vintage, all above (modern and traditional), traditional food

The result also show that the 2 contrast of city life and heritage (traditional) life in Penang.

It means the 1st artwork and 2nd artwork is balance.Not more to modern or traditional since mostly people want to have these 2 type of life together but still it shows contrast feeling within themself.

Assignment 03 Brief : Digital Arts

selected topic. Both artworks should carry two different themes 
(treatment, “look and feel” and art concepts) but for the same target audience.

Artist statement:I choose quote because it is the only way i can use the text of the quote to express how i feel for the social media,i feel happy about influence of social media on me as i know a lot people around the world,chat with them easily about anything,increase the bond and my socialise skill.I use blue for social network because social network are available in internet.Orange is to show that the person is happy that social media is follow then as it is convenient to connect with friends.
artwork treatment:it is done by using Adobe illustrator Cs5 

idea development

1)i use leg image to show the movement of them and follow at the back.

2)the footstep is to show the same direction that they are going.

3)it is change to arrow letter then

I use blue for social network because social network are available in internet.Orange is to show that the person is happy that social media is follow then as it is convenient to connect with friends.
